Renault 5 van. Diesel, they’ll run on the proverbial oily rag. This was I think the first time R
enault replaced a car with another carrying the same model number.
Land Rover with an unexpected fitting.

The thing on the Land Rover is just a half of a portable toilet.

UK plates thou
gh so I was about to say no - but I see that its UK tax expired in 2016 and its MoT in 2017 so somebody’s driving around illegally in a foreign registered vehicle.

“ first time Renault replaced a car with another carrying the same model number” ... I believe it was called the “Super 5", so technically not exactly the same model number, but we’re splitting hairs in halves here ... Monday morning. Moar coffee.

We get that a lot with Polish vehicles but the DVLC and Police are clamping down on it.
It used to be the driver got a warning and/or fine. Now they are more likely to have their vehicle impounded straight away.
But a lot of people used to do it in Europe, work abroad, say Holland, buy a car from the U.K.n drive it around until it broke down and then abandon it (I know an Australian who did just that, three times).
